Game of Throws cornhole event exceeds fundraising goals, organizers say

On May 11, the IMA Foundation and KPD Insurance hosted the Game of Throws event, a cornhole tournament meant to help raise money for CASA of Lane County and Relief Nursery. According to IMA Foundation CEO Kyle Hudson, they wanted to have a fun afternoon with clients, carriers and friends by helping non-profits in the local community. This event raises awareness about IMA Foundation’s core values of advancing youth, arts and culture, and education.

In the end, the Game of Throws event raised $50,000 for CASA of Lane County, $10,000 above the initial $40,000 goal. A $10,000 check of the proceeds was presented to CASA.
