Business Advocate

Hope Fuels Action.

Businesses Disrupt Abuse.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lane County is committed to ameliorating the adverse effects of child abuse. With one of the highest rates of child maltreatment in the state, there is a critical need for children who have experienced abuse and neglect to be paired with a CASA. Partnerships with local businesses can help us close this gap.

By committing to our mission, you’re not only benefitting children, but enhancing your company’s reputation and impact as well. Partner with us in a deeper way. Become a business advocate today.

What is a Business Advocate?

Businesses that partner with CASA as advocates are committed to furthering our mission of empowering volunteer advocates to safeguard the best interests of children who have endured abuse or neglect. Business Advocates can support our program in three ways of their choosing:

  • Invite CASA to speak with your staff once a year about volunteer opportunities

  • Publicize the need for volunteers with your employees prior to application deadlines

  • Share information about CASA events with employees

  • Host a third-party event benefitting CASA

  • Share information about CASA with your public audiences via social media

  • Financially sponsor a new CASA volunteer

  • Invite CASA to table at a business or customer events

  • We also welcome other ideas of how you can support our program!

CASA of Lane County is a non-profit comprised of mostly volunteers and a small team of full time staff to carry out our mission. With 200 volunteers, we are able to provide the powerful voice of advocacy to over 450 children. However, last year there were nearly 1,000 children in foster care due to abuse or neglect, highlighting the crucial need for more CASA volunteers so we can support more children.

To partner with us, simply appoint a CASA Ambassador to represent your company. Your support will enable CASA to expand our program sustainably, serving as a pipeline for funding and volunteer recruitment. Together, we can extend CASA’s reach, providing essential support to more children in need within our community.

Change a Child’s Story

Employees in the workforce today yearn for a deeper connection and a sense of purpose that makes a meaningful impact on their community. They want to know their efforts extend beyond profit margins and quarterly reports. Even the customers you serve want to work with a business who’s trying to make a difference.

By aligning with our cause, you open a pathway for your employees to channel their energies toward making their community a better place by giving children who have experienced abuse and neglect a second chance.

Partnering with CASA isn’t merely a charitable deed. It’s a strategic move with tangible benefits, bridging the gap between your employees or customers and the corporate world. You aren’t just making a statement, you’re crafting a legacy.
