Supporters of children advocates go 'over the edge' of Eugene hotel
As one of CASA of Lane County’s newer events, Over the Edge gives fundraisers the chance to rappel off the side of Hyatt place after raising money for CASA’s program. This article, posted by the Register Guard, gives an inside look at what this experience was like for those who have taken the leap by choosing to go over the edge. The children CASA serves are brave every day so, according to Development Director Michele Morgan, she can be scared for five minutes to show her support for the children in foster care.
Over the Edge is a peer-to-peer fundraiser, encouraging community members to ask for donations from friends and family so they can go over the edge and show their support for CASA of Lane County’s mission. Edgers can join individually or as a team with their friends or coworkers.
